Hi my name is Ms Shamsa Qammar, I am a teacher and a single mother to two children. I love cooking for my family and I am a self taught cook , however my mother has influenced my cooking skills. In summary, cooking skills helped me to meet nutrition guidelines in my daily nutrition supply. They allowed me to make healthier food choices. It is, therefore, important to teach my children how to cook and to encourage them to develop their cooking skills.

Masala Kebabs- Laila Ramadan Recipe

Hi my name is Ms Shamsa Qammar, I am a teacher and a single mother to two children. I love cooking for my family and I am a self taught cook , however my mother has influenced my cooking skills. Here are present my traditional Ramadan Recipe.

Method

Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix well until all ingredients are combined together. Then make the kebabs and put them in a grease proof oven dish and cook for 1 hour , turning half way. Then caramelise onions in a Karahi and add 3 tomatoes and a juice of 1 lemon , 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder and 1teaspoon of salt and cook for ten minutes. Then add the kebabs to this masala and cook for a further 10 minutes and there you are your kebabs in masala are ready.

 

Cooking Tips

Add egg and gram flour as this will combine the kebabs mixture well.

Ingredients

  • Get 1 kilo of minced mutton meat and add 1 onion, 1 potato, 1 capsicum green pepper, 3 tbs of ginger and garlic, 1 tbs of Basar chilli powder, 5green chilles, 1 1/2 tbs of salt , 2tbs of gram flour and 1 egg.
